Hello, I'm Dominik. I am a photographer and videographer, live in Prague & work all over Czechia and a large part of the EU. It has been sixteen years already, sixteen years of photography and filming, hundreds of clients, thousands of contracts and millions of photos taken.
I started with photography in high school, first nicely old-school on film, then with the arrival of professional digital technology, I started thinking about photography as a possible option for my future job. In 2007 I met the very first person who was willing to pay me for a photo shoot - and he caused this whole thing. Then the high school graduation and several attempts with universities flew by, but in the end I resigned on responsibility and in 2012 switched from the certainty of a steady income to being a freelancer and began to make a full-time living by photography and video production.
During the many beautiful years since that first contract, I discovered how much I love doing photos for living and working on a freelance basis. How much I don't want to exchange capturing important historical events or significant moments in people’s lives for another job. And how the people around me react, comment and value my work. Simply put, I am happiest when my client is satisfied.
